Mixed media collage - hand made paper with lyrics from northern soul songs, hand embroidery on top. Fabric image with embroidery threads attached.

Interesting concept using the hand made paper. Love the hand made paper with the northern soul lyrics imbedded. Not sure how I could recreate this now at home as I like the concept of the words been slightly ripped/half hidden, so the viewer has to really look at the image to work out what it says. Also it ties in the link between the scooter scene and the northern soul scene.  Possibly a paper collage using ripped up images/words overlapping each other? Overall I don't think this image works, wrong colour background too overpowering, may of worked better with a more muted background?
