Mixed media - black and white printed collage with hand embroidery.

Like the concept of the viewer having to struggle to see the scooter image, with one image upside down to add to the confusion.

Feel that this image isn't strong enough although feel like this is the beginning of a new avenue to explore. I made a number of mono prints to experiment with, think the concept of adding the scooter article from a scootering magazine brings the link between the image and the scooter scene in general. Need to try this concept with machine embroidery.

Enjoyed creating this, strong use of colours and the distorted image provides a contemporary feel on an otherwise quite traditional medium.
