mixed media - paper collage with machine embroidery

Here I experimented with machine embroidery over a paper collage.

I like the way that the machine sewing threads are left loose at the bottom of the piece. I experimented with this technique and used a page from the TV magazine overlapped with words of parts of scooters stitched onto it. I then added with pen the word 'Whitby'. This was to link the image together, there should have been a scooter rally at Whitby this Easter but was cancelled due the Corona Virus. This could be taken forward by using a scootering magazine for the background.
